How We Will Serve

We will be serving in a few specific ways the students and faculty of Portuguese Bible Institute (PBI).

One of the most practical ways is to use Michael's professional skills as a network engineer to design and implement a new network infrastructure for the school. This will include a new router, switches, and WiFi access points. Once the infrastructure is in place, then the server and software can be upgraded or moved to a cloud computing platform. Michael will need a few sets of hands so Andrew and Rob will be assisting.

Another opportunity Michael will have is leading a worship seminar for worship leaders and teams. This time together will encourage those in the ministry and provide a resource for practical tips for leading the saints.

There are projects planned for the entire family too by participating in an endless list of light construction, repairs, painting, and landscaping on campus that can always be done.

Specifically, Brenda and the kids will bless the students and staff by organizing the student and main kitchens, serving soup and American desserts at "Tea Time" to the students and faculty and sprucing up the campus with some new plants and general yard work.

"Tea Time" is a small dinner meal for the students at PBI. Most of the students come to class without having eaten dinner because they are coming from work. This lite meal is a huge blessing to them.
Brenda will be serving up some of her wonderful soups and American desserts.

Finally, we will serve the students, faculty and their families in any way we can with a focus on encouraging them in the faith.
